Delete your Kinpal data

Kinpal is made by moinsen (Ulrich Diedrichsen, Hamburg). Kinpal has no accounts, so most of your data never leaves your phone.

Data on your phone

Diary, walks, emergency recordings and settings are stored only on your phone.

To delete single entries: open Kinpal, go to Journal, and delete the walk or recording.
To delete everything: uninstall Kinpal. This removes all data stored by the app on the phone.

Data on the alarm server

Alarms (your shown name, your positions during the alarm, the trusted contacts it was sent to): deleted automatically 48 hours after the alarm starts. Nothing is kept after that.
Trusted-contact registration (name, push token, app language): deleted automatically 12 months after that phone last opened Kinpal.

Request immediate deletion

Send an email to business@moinsen.dev with the subject “Kinpal data deletion”. If you are a trusted contact, include the name you registered with and, if you have it, your invitation link. We delete the data within 30 days and confirm by email. No other data is kept.
